I was cleaning my desk and found, buried deep in a pile of papers, a scrap of paper with some names and numbers. After peering at them for a while, I realized that it dated back from when I spent some time on Launch, looking for new music. Here’s what I had.

Mono (60)
Willa Ford (60)
Juno Reactor (70)
Michelle Lewis (70)
Rem/Drive, Man in the Moon
LaRissa (90)*
New Order/Bizzare Love Triangle
Alana Davis (75)?
Wall Flowers/1 headlight
Shanice/I love your smile
Jewel/Face of Love
Natalie Merchant/Just can’t last (single)
Iio (90)* – Rapture
Paulina Rubio ?
Bare Naked Ladies- Stunt

As to what they mean: I think the numbers in parenthesis were my settings for groups/artists (on Launch’s 1-100 scale). A few songs made me investigate further (at the time), so I tracked down CDs that looked interesting.

I didn’t pick up many of these at the time; I’m curious though. Have my tastes shifted since then? (I don’t think it was much more than a year ago.) Was I in a strange space at the time? I notice the electronica, which I love about Launch (and would like about radio play)– I like it, but not enough to buy, and rarely enough to be picky.
