If you’ll have any problem making it Friday night, please let us know.

I think we’re looking at winding up the D&D game pretty soon– it’s been a lot of fun. Still, I look ahead and try to figure out what fun’s on the horizon. Here are the choices I’m hearing so far…

a) Pick up and continue our Star Wars game. This seems like the natural transition, but it didn’t feel like it was going to happen. Maybe Ben’s working on an awesome new mission and will spring it on us enthusiastically…

b) Kevin’s interested in another try at Shadowrun.

c) Jennifer has been chortling “zombie pirates” as she prepares some fun D&D adventures: Savage Tides.

d) I think Dad’s ready for a break, to be a player. That sounds smart to me.

e) I have two ideas, though I’ve shelved one. The unshelved idea is Spirit of the Century– played only on the weeks when someone can’t make a session. (It’s specially designed for rapid plotting, which should make it work fine on less notice than normal.) We’d all make characters together in a normal session, but play “in the gaps”, episodically.

Anything I’ve overlooked?
